THE SUMMER NETWORK 2010
The summer network 2010

On 28 March 2010, Alitalia’s new summer schedule went into effect and will last until early October 2010. The summer network includes 83 destinations between Italy and the rest of the world with 2528 weekly frequencies on 144 routes. Specifically:

Extensive coverage of the Domestic Market: 28 domestic destinations served and 1693 weekly frequencies to meet internal mobility needs thanks to a wide range of direct service between the main Italian cities towards the rest of Italy.

Efficient coverage of Foreign Markets: 55 international and intercontinental destinations served and 836 weekly frequencies, with easy connections to domestic flights.

Schedules that suit customers needs: Schedules that allow business customers to make return trips in one day from/to the main Italian and European destinations.

Close to your home: a network centered around six regional hubs (Turin, Milan, Venice, Rome, Naples and Catania) that makes travel from the Italian provinces to the rest of the world quick and convenient.

What is new for the summer network:

The start of new international flights from the Rome Fiumicino airport to Vienna and Malaga (starting 28 March), Los Angeles (starting 5 June) and Amman (starting 10 June);

The start of a new international flight from the Milan Malpensa airport to Miami (starting 3 June).

The start of service operated by Air One from Milan Malpensa to Brindisi, Lamezia Terme, Trapani and, in the summer period, Alghero, Olbia, Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca;

The reopening of seasonal service on the Venice-Cagliari route.
